Professor named one of Canada’s most influential
Professor Alice Woolley has been named one of Canada’s most influential lawyers by Canadian Lawyer magazine.
Professor Alice Woolley has advocated at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s city hall that its whistleblower program should be expanded to protect the identities of private citizens and councillor staffers who report inappropriate behaviour. She has aimed to create a tougher code of conduct for the mayor and members of council and oversee the creation of a voluntary lobbyist registry. While dean-academic at the University of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Faculty of Law, Woolley instituted significant curricular changes that focused on the practical elements of legal education.
