Nursing instructors release new book on nurses and families
Zahra Shajani and Diana Snell release new book about harnessing the power of the nurse-family relationship
A new edition of Wright and Leahey's Nurses and Families has just been published thanks to Zahra Shajani and Diana Snell. The 7th edition of Nurses and Families: A Guide to Family Assessment and Intervention was published in February by F. A. Davis.
The book uses the thoroughly revised Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Family Assessment and Intervention Models to assess families effectively and know when and how to intervene to reduce suffering and promote health.
The book covers topics such as how to:
- Master assessment, communication and intervention skills when working with families across the lifespan;
- Rely on practical guidelines for family interviewing;
- Consult clinical tools, skills, and case study examples.
