Other Appointments (Not Employment)
There are a number of appointments that may be provided in certain circumstances and do not involve an employment relationship with the University of Ģý, including Adjunct Appointments, Clinical Appointments, Faculty Professor Appointments, and Honorary Appointments.

Adjunct and Clinical Appointments
Appointments for persons with substantial experience in a profession or discipline, who are from outside a Department or Faculty, to contribute to the educational experience of students on a recurring basis through active participation in an academic program.
Faculty Professor Appointments
An appointment that renews the affiliation of certain retired faculty, allowing them to continue contributing to research, scholarship or creative activities after their retirement.
Honorary Appointments
Appointments made on the recommendation of a Dean or equivalent in any rank or title for a stipulated period on an honorary basis for the benefit of the university and to confer distinction upon the appointee (e.g. Honorary Professor).
